The Twigs are a branch of the RFC, and members of the BWA, who join in with the exhibitions and other activities of the RFC when possible.

They are a group of 7 – 10 who meet each Friday afternoon during term time, with members from as far as St Albans and Royston, as well as locally. The group is looking for new members. Sessions are taught, and members produce a variety of carvings.
The Twigs have excellent facilities which they share with the Bedford Model Engineering Society. It has a lovely, relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere with lots of exchanging of ideas and help from other members through models, pictures, diagrams that are brought in.
The pictures below show the clubhouse, a few examples of work which includes entries to the BWA’s ‘Carve an Egg’ competition.
- Some of the TWIGS work on display at the 2018 Rockingham Forest Carvers’ Exhibition.
